Asuhan Keperawatan Dengan Masalah Keperawatan Kurang Pengetahuan Pada Klien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 Di Ruang Bugenvile RSUD dr. M. Soewandhie Surabaya

Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a disease characterized by an increase in blood glucose caused by an imbalance between supply and the need for insulin. this research aims to study and understand nursing care with nursing problem knowledge deficit of clients diabetes mellitus type 2 in bugenvile room RSUD Dr. M. Soewandhie Surabaya.
This research uses descriptive method with nursing care approach. The sample used is 2 client with diabetes mellitus. Data collection instruments using the format of nursing care in accordance with the provisions in force in Nursing Departement Campus Soetomo. This research was carried out from March 21, 2014 until April 21, 2014.
Based on analysis of the discussion is concluded, it was found that the assessment stage diabetes mellitus suffered in case 1 and case 2 because the client does not routinely in drinking cure and less in control her diet. Diagnosis priority on case 1 and case 2 the less of knowledge about the disease, prognosis, and treatment needs related to less of information. Planning found that the intervention is in theory capable of addressing the problem of diabetes mellitus in the hospital. Implementation is done in accordance with a plan that is prepared. Evaluation can be resolved on a case 1 for 4x24 hours and in case 2 during 4x24 hours after the client is undergoing inpatient at the hospital.
Expected for paramedic to continue to increase outreach to families about diabetes mellitus type 2 so that increases health status, family became more cooperative with respect ro a given therapy. So there is no further complications and prevent recurrence on client diabetes mellitus type 2 in bugenvile room RSUD. Dr. M. Soewandhie Surabaya
