Asuhan Keperawatan Dengan Masalah Bersihan Jalan Nafas Tidak Efektif Pada Klien Pneumonia Di Ruang Anggrek RSUD DR. M. Soewandhie Surabaya

Pneumonia is an inflammation of lung parenchyma caused by various microorganisms. Respiratory diseases are often characterized by respiratory secretions very much. Secretion must be removed to prevent further complications. The research aims to study and understand the issue of nursing care with problem ineffective airway clearance of pneumonia clients at Anggrek rooms RSUD DR. M. Soewandhie Surabaya.
The research uses a case study approach to nursing care by taking the case as the unit of analysis. The unit of analysis is two individuals aged over 17 years with a medical diagnosis of pneumonia who are having problem ineffective airway clearance at Anggrek rooms RSUD DR. M. Soewandhie Surabaya. Methods of data collection by interview, physical test and laboratory tests. Data collection instruments used formats nursing care in accordance with Prodi Keperawatan Kampus Soetomo. The research was start in September 2013 - July 2014.
Based on analysis of discussion is concluded, the assessment stage the client is experiencing major symptoms of shortness of breath. The nursing diagnosis is ineffective airway clearance with increased sputum production. The Intervention prepared in accordance with the theory. Implementation is done in accordance with plans that have been prepared. Evaluation obtained in both cases resolved within 3x24 hours after the client is hospitalized
Advised for health workers to prevent the transmission of pneumonia with urge clients to wearing a mask and modify the room with segregate patients with infectious respiratory diseases with other diseases that are not infectious. Suggested for further research can conduct research on the risk of transmission infection who can cause complications of client with pneumonia
