Asuhan Keperawatan Kelebihan Volume Cairan Pada Klien Gagal Ginjal Kronik Dengan Hemodialisis Di RS. Islam Jemursari Surabaya
Chronic kidney disease is a progressive kidney damage which is fatal and is characterized by uremia or urea and other nitrogenous wastes that circulate in the blood as well as complications if not performed dialysis or kidney transplantation. Patients with chronic renal disease usually have sodium and water retention. Dialysis is widely used in the treatment of clients with chronic end stage renal disease when conservative therapy is no longer effective. In Indonesia, an increasing number of patients with chronic renal disease who do hemodialysis. This research aims to study and understand the depth of the fluid volume overload nursing care to clients with chronic renal disease with hemodialysis in Jemursari islamic hospital Surabaya.
This study uses a case study approach to nursing care by taking the case of the chronic renal disease with hemodialysis. Respondents were two clients with chronic renal disease on hemodialysis performed hemodialysis unit RS.Islam Jemursari Surabaya. The data collection method is to conduct interviews with clients, physical examination and investigation. Data collection instruments used formats nursing care in accordance with applicable provisions of Soetomo Nursing. This study was conducted from March 21 and March 24, 2014.
Based on analysis of the discussion of the obtained results, it was found that the age assessment phase does not affect the occurrence of chronic renal disease. The main nursing diagnosis in cases 1 and 2 is excess fluid volume associated with a decrease in urine output. Planning found that interventions that have existed in theory, able to cope with the problem of excess volume of fluid in the client with chronic renal disease with hemodialysis in real cases in the hospital. Implementation is done in accordance with the plans that have been prepared and Evaluation obtained in cases 1 and 2 with the main problem of excess fluid volume 1x5 resolved within hours after the client undergoing hemodialysis at a hospital.
Expected for health workers to continue to improve counseling to clients and families on a low potassium diet regulation and restriction of fluid intake in clients with chronic renal disease who do hemodialysis, in order to improve client adherence to treatment and prevent complications
