Children growth and developmental period sometimes make parents not quite care with children necessity such as food, drink, and sanitation which cause children easy to affected by diseases. The purpose of the research is to learn and to understand about pediatric nursing care with gastroenteritis at RSUD Dr. M. Soewandhi Surabaya. This research use case study method with nursing care approachment with take two case as analysis unit. Analysis unit is gastroenteritis patient who get a treatment at Seruni Room RSUD Dr. M. Soewandhi Surabaya. Data withdrawal method is use interview, physical checkup, and supporting checkup. Data accumulation use nursing care form requirement appropriate in Nursing Progam Study Soetomo Campus Surabaya. Data analysis with descriptive.Based on data analysis can take conclusion that assessment need effective communication skill, nursing diagnose appropriate with patient condition, plan and realization supported by good facilities and tools, do evalution immediately with formative and summative.Expected to be considered for local health workers to improve communication skills in providing health education, to increase health of children especially for give pediatric nursing care of gastroenteritis, so can decrease incidence of gastroenteritis
