Asuhan Keperawatan Keluarga Dengan Masalah Keperawatan Nyeri Kepala Pada Kasus Hipertensi Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pucang Sewu Surabaya

Hypertension has become a big problem in the world,because the prevalence is high and likely increase. This study aims to determine family nursing care with head pain nursing problem at hypertension case in working area pucang sewu health center surabaya. This type of research is descriptive research in case control study design with nursing care approach, that consists of nursing assessment, nursing diagnose, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. It uses minimal two families which one of the members suffer from hypertension and visits Pucang Sewu health center.
In nursing assessment, both of families are found complaint of head pain as priority nursing diagnose. Nursing diagnose is head pain related to inability of the family to know the health problems. Nursing implementations are teach non farmacology techniques to reduce the pain like warm compress on the forehead, massage in the back and neck, relaxation method, and give health education about hypertension. The family has an important role in regulating food intake of patients like low salt diet, low cholesterols, high in fiber diets and medication obedience.
