Bronchial asthma is a chronic disease characterized by an increase in airway sensitivity to various stimuli (dust, cigarette, cold, food, etc.) that cause constriction of the airways that is widespread and can be cured or with treatment. This research to study and understand the family nursing care with ineffective management of therapeutic regimen in patient with brnkhial asthma in Puskesmas Jagir Surabaya.
This study used a descriptive method to approach nursing care. The sample used was 2 family with bronchial asthma. Collection instruments used formats nursing care in accordance with the applicable provisions in Prodi Keperawatan Kampus Soetomo. This study was from 08 June 2014-22 June 2014.
Based on the analysis and conclution of the factors that influence the development of bronchial asthma that behavior, environment, health facilities and offspring. The first priority nursing diagnosis in case 1 and case 2 is ineffective management of therapeutic regimen related to the inability to recognize family health problems. In the planning of nursing diagnosis according to the theory which gives knowledge about asthma braonkhial family, understanding, signs and symptoms, causes, means of prevention, treatment and how early treatment of recurrence. The evaluation found that in case 1 and case 2 Therapeutic regimen management ineffective problem on two families have been reached.
Health centers are expected to take an active role in providing health education on all levels so that the bronchial asthma community learn more about asthma and asthma can prevent recurrence.
